Summit Cancer Solutions SUMMER SOIREE

Drinking wine for a good cause! Summit will have wine tastings again this year. The first wine tasting will be on August 19th at 6:30pm in Wheat Ridge at the Richards-Hart Estate. The event includes 6 Spanish-speaking wines to taste, catering by Pearl Street Grill, bocce ball and other yard sports, a silent auction, & music by 5280 A Capella --all at a beautiful, historic Victorian home!! Summit Hiking Club
Sandy will be offering six hikes on Saturdays starting April 24th. Hikes will start at 9am, rain or shine! RSVP to Sandy for each hike at least one week before the hike is scheduled at sandyd@summitcancersolutions.org or 303-409-2207. The degree of difficulty will be easy to moderate - so everyone can participate. Location will vary each week. Feel free to bring a friend!! When you RSVP, Sandy will give you the details of each hike the Wednesday preceding the hike. Click here for a flyer.

Step Up for Cancer
Step Up for Cancer is having its second annual event on August 8th at the Dick's Sporting Goods Park in Commerce City. This event is similar to a 5K run/walk , except that you climb stairs to benefit cancer nonprofits instead of walking or running! Last year's event was a lot of fun and brought a much needed $2,000 to our program. This year’s event will be even bigger and better. SUMMIT NEEDS TO REGISTER 20 PEOPLE THIS YEAR in order to receive revenue from the event. Please register and choose Summit as your nonprofit organization beneficiary. There will be a course for people who do not want to “climb” to the top of the stadium and you can even register without attending if you can't make it that day. Please support us! This year's event will be held Nov. 6th beginning at 9am at City Park in Denver. Mark your calendars!!
